This last Saturday my friend and I set off on a hike up Mailbox Peak. 
Due to weather and such the road to the trailhead was closed so we had to hike along a road to get there.
Unfortunately this was not the road we thought it was and we ended up adding 10 miles to our hike!!! 
After four hours of pain we finally found the trailhead and had our lunch. 
It wasn’t too long before we started up again to practice our rope and ice axe skills. 
We weren’t really able to spend as much time as we wanted practicing our ice axe as we started 5 hours after we were planning (because of traveling up the wrong road).
